Resource Management System (RMS) is responsible for identifying, organizing, and coordinating resource and logistic needs during a disaster or emergency incident. It is efficient and effective management of DRRM Office resources when they are needed. It is the process of pre-planning, scheduling, and allocating DRRM Office Resources’ to maximize efficiency. RMS manages the Procurement & Inventory Management that automates the complete supply cycle from requisition, procurement, and inventory. It includes storage and distribution.
RMS is designed to manage and monitor all the City’s equipment and provide the resources needed to achieve reliable and accurate results. RMS monitors the status and whereabouts of the agency-owned office machines, equipment, vehicles, medicine, blood, food, non-food and other supplies for emergencies.
RMS tracks the Expiry Dates and an ALERT! Pops-up on the monitor to remind the RMS Personnel to take Action to return and replace the items before the Expiry Date! No wasted Resources!. RMS provides the City’s Food and Drug supplies Expiry Dates to notify the RMS Personnel to remove all the expired items and change them to new supplies.
