Challenges to Health Systems
  1. Growing Medical Demand
  2. Shortage of Medical Professionals
  3. Growing Patient Expectations

The World Health Organization (WHO) has advocated REFORMS in the Health Systems leading to “Digital Transformation“.
“HealthKard EHR” is an answer to such Reforms needed in the Healthcare System!
Digital Transformation of Citizen’s Medical Encounters

HealthKard EHR is focused on the medical encounters of the Citizen – going beyond standard medical and clinical data collected in the Provider’s office and inclusive of a broader view on a Citizen’s care. The EHR is a catalogue of past Electronic Medical Record (EMR) that provides Healthcare Providers the totality of the Patient’s Medical History.

The HealthKard EHR in the CLOUD is the database repository of ALL the Citizens’ Medical Encounters.

These Medical Encounters are derived from Healthcare Providers such as Hospitals (EMRConnect), Laboratories (LabConnect), Testing Centers (TEST-R Connect), and Clinics (ClinicConnect) through Electronic Data Capture.

Citizen’s Medical Encounters are downloaded to the Citizen’s personalized myHealthKard app in their smartphone or other mobile devices.

System Architecture
Backup of Citizens Data – “On Premise”

HealthKardEHR has an API (Application Programming Interface) that collects and integrates Citizen’s Health Records from differentr Healthcare providers and transmits it to the HealthKard System in the Cloud. A backup copy of the database are setup and configured in the Client’s On-Premise Server as per request.

Backup On Premise
Multi-layer Security

HealthKard exercises best practice and multiple safeguards to protect sensitive Personal and Health Information such as: Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Scans to ensure application security as well as continuous Risk Assessment.

HealthKard EHR is secured by the multi-layer security implementation of the Cloud, which protects the data, accounts, and workload from unauthorized access. HealthKard EHR takes advantage of the Cloud enterprise data protection services that provide encryption; key management and threat protection that continuously safeguard the system.

HealthKard database employs layered security. A layered security is an approach that uses several components to protect your operations with multiple levels of security measure. The purpose of a layered security approach is to make sure that every individual defense component has a backup to counter any flaws or gaps in other defenses of security. The HealthKard database is always encrypted and access should pass through these different layers.

Compliance to the Data Privacy Law

The Citizens Health Records in the Cloud are SECURE and compliant to the Data Privacy Act. All records are kept private and confidential and will not be disclosed to any person without the approval of the Citizen of record.
